Due to a lot of the new brainrots and buffs
added to the game by Sammy as well as potential nerfs to Brainrots (Garama for example), the game's
economy has been slightly destabilised and some values may seem out of place. We are working on
an algorithmic solution to represent the values of these edge-case brainrots better, so please be patient
with us as we do so.
Although most brainrots are not affected by this, we'd just like you to keep this in mind while trading
to ensure that you do not lose value. If you're uncertain about a brainrot's future value, we suggest
avoiding it until the market stabilises again.
To better understand if a brainrot's value is stable, click
on its card in the Value list to see the pricing history graph and if
there is no clear trend/pattern, the item's value is not stable and you should avoid trading with it until
you see stability
The Trade Calculator lets you build a trade offer to see exactly how much each side wins or loses by, with support for mutations and traits. Once you're happy with your trade, you can hit the share-link button and a link will be copied directly into your clipboard. Anyone who opens that link will see the trade from their side, making it easy to send offers directly to others.
A fair trade will show a value difference close to 0 (near white). A good trade for you (where they overpay) will show a greener value difference. The sweet spot is something light green: a trade that looks fair on the surface but is a slight underpay on your end. Aim for that.
Keep in mind that some edge-case brainrots may not be valued accurately by the calculator. For example, a discontinued brainrot that somehow obtained a mutation after the fact (such as radioactive Halloween brainrots) will have an understated value. Use your own judgement for these cases despite how uncommon they are.
Also consider an item's future potential before locking in a trade. A trade that looks good today could end up being a bad one if the item you receive drops in value — which is very common with brand new brainrots that launch extremely high and bleed out over time. Check their graphs on their individual pages before deciding. Other brainrots that tend to bleed value over time are carpet brainrots such as Garamas and Capitanos since more just keep being created as time goes on.
